Janell Walden Agyeman is a publishing industry veteran and strategic consultant to writers. She entered the book publishing industry after graduating from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and has played several roles in her career. Janell has worked as an editor, literary agent, an educational program administrator for general trade and university presses.

Most recently, she has expanded her involvement in civic activities that empower women, children, and elders to live abundant lives. Janell also spends her time learning gardening skills, writing letters, reading books, being in the great outdoors, and traveling whenever she can. She is married to Akwasi Agyeman and the mother of two sons.

Akwasi O. Agyeman is a “gentleman farmer” who lives in the home he built on a North Carolina mountainside after retiring from his role as Professor of Humanities at Miami Dade Community College. He is a graduate of Delaware State University and the Howard University School of Law. Earlier in his career, he was an attorney in private practice. He has held positions in municipal government and once wrote legislation for the emerging South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. Since he first worked on a crew of family and friends to help build a house at age 16, he has been engaged in rehabilitating or developing housing. He has had a garden most of his life, if sometimes only growing tomatoes in a pot. He is also the author of two books of poetry and an essay collection, Coming ‘Cross the Street. He is married to Janell Walden Agyeman and the father of two sons.

Danny Egol is a passionate bridge builder and founder/executive director of IDEAS Generation, a nonprofit focused on embedding IDEAS: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access, and Social Justice into everything we do. His strengths include organizational development, facilitation and meeting design, strategic planning, and financial management.

Mackenzie Huffman is an experienced Marketing & Business Development professional with a demonstrated history in the legal market.

Edward Wyche is a responsive, solutions-driven Software Developer/System Analyst with 20+ years experience in CRM, HR, insurance, public utility and brokerage companies. With a Special emphasis on process-enhancing solutions and streamlined system testing, Edward brings his systems knowledge to Collective Power as well as his personal experience in new construction development and technology research.

Stan Robinson is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of experience launching startup entities and growing emerging companies. His industry experience includes environmental, software, professional services, medical equipment, real estate, consumer retail, public accounting, financial services, government and manufacturing. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force where he obtained the rank of Captain. As a comptroller, Mr. Robinson has a keen understanding of the rules of governmental, grant, and nonprofit accounting.
